    Why would MS have play and charge kits support data sending to PC when they can make more money off off selling wireless receivers.
    MS also won't incorporate it now as they released official XBone controller drivers for Windows as well.

    The 360 controller port does not connect to the actual controls, it's only used to recharge the battery. With or without a driver, it can't possibly be used to play games. Moreover, you shouldn't allow your controller to go completely flat - it lowers the capacity of the battery in the long run.
