The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin will be squaring off in the ring on your Nintendo 3DS this fall. Today THQ announced that WWE All Stars will be coming to Nintendo's new portable on November 22, the same day WWE '12 arrives for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

All Stars for the 3DS will feature over 40 characters, including 13 superstars that were previously DLC for the 360 and PS3 versions. Two exclusive modes, Gauntlet and Score Scramble, will be added for the 3DS release. Gauntlet is exactly what you think it is - fight the entire roster and survive. Score Scramble provides score-based challenges for players to test their skills.

Currently there's no word on whether All Stars will take advantage of the 3DS's hardware beyond 3D graphics. Online play, StreetPass, SpotPass and Play Coin support have yet to be confirmed or denied.[/p]

Awesome! WWE All Stars is actually a decent fighting game. Yes I said fighting! while it shares characters and a few mechanics of Wrestling, All Stars is as much of a wrestling game as Ultimate Muscle on GameCube a wrestling game.

I guess it's nice that they make a 3DS version.

I don't really like the games though.

I think I said it before, but saying again. The last one I played was WWF '98 back on the Nintendo 64 and I felt it was pretty good.

Recently tried WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 and was fucking dissapointed.
Really now.. we can do moves with the right analog stick o.O. wtf.. where did the cool move combinations go -.-

    Just hoping for better controls.

ahh interesting and almost all nintendo handhelds have had wwe . gba had around 2 or 3 and also the ds had some but some had bad/simple controls except one.

now a skip to come to the 3ds which is interesting unless they make it a simple game and not like the ps2 ones or ps1 (which IMO were better).

In the n64 games you had to press b and a direction on the d pad to do an attack. Using the right stick eliminates the having to press button along with direction and makes it simple. Its a natural progression. BTW the last three good wrestling games were

    SvR 2010 (wii)
    SvR 2009 (wii)
    day of reckoning 2 (GameCube)

SvR 2011was a huge step backwards
