Yeah IOSU exploit would be sweet right now! We could spoof without it being permanent, which is the only thing stopping me trying it right now (And playing the games I have bought!)...

Is there anything we can be doing to help find the IOSU exploit? I remember Wololo releasing a method for the PSP so that people could start looking for exploits to help, could something similar be done here so that we can all pool in to help the cause?

How do we open and check those files for spoofing? I was thinking If we can somehow edit them to deal in a different way with system file version protection.... For example if files version for 5.3.2 are number 1 we edit the files for spoofing to 5.5.0 as number 2. Then in any case we have a version 3 of the files that show the original 5.3.2 to return the console to normal state and capability to update correctly from nintendo.... Just a thought to make it semi-permanent.

We need a browser fuzzer for the IOSU exploit? We can only run code from browser? I haven't done anything like this but I would like to try.

Write a Fuzzer for IOUS syscalls and start filling it with bogus data. Track which syscall causes an unhandled exception and send it Marionumber1 in a pm.

"Yes you all should totally do this". Fill up MN1's pm box. lol, sorry couldn't resist. Make a thread, let users post findings. Because there will be many unhandled exceptions that can't be patched due to the hardware configuration. That will keep user's pm boxes from being flooded and will allow many other quiet devs to have access to findings. That and most unhandled exceptions are not exploitable at all so rather than force one user to read through private messages it will allow others to read as well and if it turns out later on one can be used in combo with another it won't be deleted and one user won't have to remember who sent it to them and ask them to send it again.

We can load data to the browser by typing an address which contains data to crash it but how can we do it in 3rd party apps? I have no idea how to load data or code to google street for example.

Did anyone try with smash bros? It needs sd card to save screenshots I think.... Can we try something from there?

@Adr990, in order to get NUSGrabberGUIv1.7 to work, I had to take the files out of the crediar folder and put them into the same folder as wget and your GUI. Trying to run it as downloaded gave no titles for Game Updates.

EDIT: Sometimes when I run the GUI it tells me no titles for Game Updates or Full Titles, and sometimes it has them populated.. odd?

EDIT2: The time I got it to work it popped up with an old school box and asked if I would allow it to store a cookie.

When I open NUS grabber GUI, internet explorer opens with "res://ieframe.dll/navcancl.htm -#http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Title_database" but connection failed.

When i use command line NUSGrabber i get connection <> failed : 10013

Any help will be great.

Just curious, how do the contents of the 5.5 spoof packs actually map to http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Title_database ? I was wondering what part actually gets updated, and thought the .app filenames were title IDs, but apparently they aren't...

I just redownloaded and extract from .rar, sometime is possible to fail extracting all files that s why was blank :c

No, you need to download the update via NUS and use the WUP installer to install it

make sure to tap the url directly in the bowser without any tabs open or load it directly from a bookmark, i always do it without any tabs oppened and i never got a freeze, a freeze ususaly happens when there is other tabs open doing stuff in the background.
