Yes, you hit the wrong button. The tools lets you backup the game as well as backup and restore a save file. So if you hit the button to restore the save file and you don't have one available, you effectively erase the save.

Had to format one of my microsd cards a few months ago because it got corrupted and I could recover files with a program I got from http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ . It wasn't for free though but maybe you can find a program that is. [IMG]

That's not going to work with his authentic DS game. NOT A ROM.

I'd be hard-pressed to find any recovery software for authentic DS carts.

The only person you can be mad at is yourself for not knowing how to read. It was you who messed up, not anyone else, not the program, it was you.

Hey, Im just mad because I was told by people (On other fourms and such) that this was a great program and that no one had any problems with it and im mad cause NO BODY anywhere put a warning or a Readme for the dang thing. A read me would have been nice cause then I'd know WTF it ment when it said "SAVE area of ROM is intialized." And if the Dang thing would actually work it would never actually write the game to my SD card just kept skipping that step so now the data MIGHT be in NOR ram so if anybody has anyway to get it out tell me ASAP.

Maybe if you had learned to read....
Always read things first. There was a readme with GBAExpLoader.

No troubles with Exp, with NDSBackUP tool. Seriously how can I get stuff off my NOR WITHOUT Erasing NOR First. (like with Dumb NDSBackup)

    With GBAExpLoader.
That's why I pointed you towards its readme.
You should already have access to the GBA ROM in NOR, so that's fine. (GBA Backup Tool can make a copy.)
GBAExpLoader, when you press B, it should backup the current save.
    Then it's safe to erase.
