This might sound as a stupid question:

Can a mirror Improve my TV quality ??

My nephew was playing CoD WaW on my wii at a TV no not Led, LCD but a huge one (a fat one)
so I looked via the mirror at the TV and it looked like the quality of my TV was better... Could that be possible or is it me ???

Better in what way? Maybe there's less glare in the reflected image so it appears better. Maybe the contrast is different in the reflected image. Who knows. Adjust the brightness and contrast settings on your TV and see what happens.

i'd assume the mirror was closer than the tv and your eyesight is not perfect resulting in it looking clearer to you

same thing happens to me with my glasses off because i'm short sighted..

What, everyone knows that mirrors display at 1080p right now. How else could we see so clearly in them?

But what mercluke said is true. Same thing happens with me, I'm near sighted too.

It depends... Does your mirror have an HD Receiver?
How much are you paying monthly for your mirror?

The image in your mirror is just light playing tricks on your eyes.

I think TrolleyDave has the correct answer. The image of the TV in the mirror would appear a lot smaller so therefore the picture would seem better quality. For example, loading a standard youtube video if you blow it up full screen it looks absolutely horrible, but if you view it at a smaller resolution or from a distance it appears better quality.
