WoW Monopoly, Starcraft Risk coming soon

Iconic Blizzard franchises World of Warcraft and Starcraft are each making their way to tables everywhere with new Monopoly and Risk games, respectively.

For all World of Warcraft fans, you can vote on which pieces make the cut for the Monopoly game at their Facebook page.The game will retail for around $40 in America in specialty stores.

The new Risk edition of Starcraft will debut during the summer for around $50 at retail. For collector's or enthusiasts of Blizzard games or classic board games, these are definitely worth checking out.

Normally I wouldn't be interested enough in an article like this to make a full post, but I had to for at least two different jokes for each franchise, respectively.

1. I thought World of Warcraft already played Monopoly.
2. I really think Starcraft should've just had a Warhammer 40k set. Oh wait, they already did.

Meh.. I'm pretty happy with my normal Monopoly and Risk game... Also... I can kinda see Starcraft working on Risk, seeing as it has war and all that... But Warcraft and Monopoly? I don't see how that would work very well.

Seems to be another sad attempt at keeping these games around...hell I'ver never even played risk,I have nothing against board games but do you really have to slap a new face plate on these games? esp. monopoly, that game has been milked to death...

To be fair, there's a monopoly game for everything; I'm just surprised that it took this long for WoW to get its own version.

As for the Risk game, I just want to see how they'll handle zerg rushes. They're going to need a lot of pieces...

well risk already works on starcraft so starcraft should prolly work on risk.
