I thought the demo was decent, but I won't be buying the game at launch. I might buy it when the price drops though. It just doesn't seem worth paying full price for.

Managed to try out 2 hours of the demo, really fun and interesting! It is a really good idea to include a mini-game during the loading time

Pre-ordered it on April 7 and now recently they charged me for it but it's okay I was going to eventually have to pay for it. The retailer is The Game Collection and they're known to send games earlier than its release date plus pre-charge so it's nothing new.

Even without the code Splatoon's Standard Edition only costs £24.95 ($38.57), I have to say that I'm surprised US gamers won't be able to purchase it for $40 too. Seems kind of unfair, tbh.

1 a 60 msrp is very stupid
2 at least maybe somewhere might have a deal (selling it for 50 or full price with an amiibo)
3 a 20 buck difference is very stupid to be honest

Honesty, I'm a bit off the fence than before the demo, but it is so much fun and it is a new ip. Yes as of now.
Maybe they will drop the price before launch.

I'm considering getting the Boy amiibo at least to get more clothes because I really had a blast playing it and it was refreshing to play something different on a Nintendo console than Mario, Zelda or Smash.
