The problem we seem to be having with N64 Emulation is that each game has its specific settings, and we're trying to put new roms in place of them and hoping they work with those settings (and normally they don't).
Would it be possible to simply make a new VC game from scratch, and alter the 'settings' to work perfectly for a particular rom?
