Homebrew Would DS Two flashcart still work on latest 3ds firmware?

I haven't used my DS Two for a while now, so I was wondering...Would it still work on the latest 11.9 3ds firmware (I'm using latest Luma BTW)? Do I need to update the firmware of the flashcart? Thx!

Yep, sure.
You may have to upgrade the firmware if you didn't use it since 7.1.0 tho.

I used mine DS 2 yesterday on 11.9, on its (SC) firmware from three years ago, it works fine
