Hacking Would Appreciate Some Help, Red Card won't boot into Gateway Mode!

Hi all,
So after weeks of waiting, my gateway finally arrived in the mail today. I was super excited, so i went ahead and ran the exploit as soon as I got home, backed up my NAND, updated the Gateway card (3.1.1) and now whenever I click to boot into Gateway mode, the just turns black and stays like that forever. The 3ds light and power lights still stay on. This is an original 3DS running 4.3 US firmware. I honestly do not know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked the pins in your gateway to make sure its a real one?

The OoT/CN doesn't work on the original 3DS yet, use the DS profile exploit or the web exploit

I am aware that the OOT exploit doesnt work. I have been using both the ds profile and the web exploit and neither have worked.

Looks legit to me. and it passes all of the diagnostic tests

Format emunnand from gateway menu. I had same problem and that fixed it.

If the card updated fine, it's legit - the GW launcher won't update a fake card.

You can also format your sysnand and see if it works.

I tried that before. if the emunand thing doesn't work, i'll give it another shot. you format sysnand through the 3ds official settings right?
