World of Goo for the Nintendo Ds, would you buy it?

World of goo is a great game, and on the ds it would be simply awesome.

They should make it for the ds, whats your thoughts/opinions about it? [IMG]

You should write to 2dboy and tell them to port it over to the DS or DSiware.

I thought it was absolutely spectacular on the Wii. I bought it before I started pirating and would still buy it today.

I'm surprised they didn't do a DS or DSiWare version, considering the success of the WiiWare and PC versions. The DS touch screen seems to be an ideal fit for the game, not to mention the fanbase they're catering to.

    I'd buy it, definitely.

This should be moved to NDS - Games though.

I remember reading that they tried it but it didn't work as well. They didn't see a point to it as they wanted the game to be the same experience as what Pc/MAC/Wii gamers had.

They also said something about not wanting to do a sequel as they like their titles to stand on their own and at the same time continue with new ideas.

    So wont happen I guess.

I was thinking maybe the screen's a bit too small.
Sucks, 'cause as guild was saying it'd be pretty popular.

    Want on.

Well I reckon if there is a new DS they'll port the WiiWare one, though I can easily see it working well on DSiWare.

I've never played it; I don't use our Wii enough to buy points for it, but I would like to play a version of it.

Would the DS be powerful enough for the same kind of gameplay you'd normally get for World of Goo? From what I heard Soul Bubble's physics was pushing the limit of what the DS could do, and I'd imagine the World of Goo physics would be a lot more demanding, and with a reduced physics engine World of Goo wouldn't be very fun.

I have this on the PC, an outstanding game, but as for this game on the DS, nah, it just wouldn't work. So if they did manage somehow to port it over to the DS, i would not want it due to the them little blobs being hardly recogniseable and the control of them in some of the levels would be somewhat impossible.

Doubtful. Would I find other means by which to play it? Certainly. But I own it on WiiWare already.

I liked it on Wii and PC, but I really doubt it'd be anywhere near as fun on DS.
