Homebrew Working downgrade from 10.6 to 9.2!

Anyone tried this on 10.3 since so far it seems to be way more stable than the old sysupdater? Or actually, would it even work on 10.3?

Worked first attempt, N3DS 10.6 via OOTHax. Had just hardmodded in prep for using the known-plaintext update, but no need. At least I've got NAND backups now!

After some research it's apparently 10.4+ only, gotta wait for someone to confirm but we're still out of luck it seems

If that post from reddit is right it shouldn't work yeah..

Exploit is 10.4+ only right now (ignoring the fact that it also works on 9.2 and lower) Use the old version of sysUpdater with mch2 if you want to downgrade 10.3 or lower.

Still a tad too risky for some of us who have no way to gain homebrew access back if it softbrick which seems to be quite often.

just softbricked my 10.5 o3dsxl luigi with correct cias checked with safesysupdater and then installed using the sysupdater compiled today at 12pm.

updated using safemode to 10.6 and downgraded again in the event that menuhax was messing it up, launched it via ninjhaxx and it softbricked again.

updated to 10.6 AGAIN and launched OP's sysupdater and softbricked again, this time using oothax, now I'm updating to 10.6 again

Should I be formatting my system memory before running this? I'm using correct hashed 9.2 o3ds cia's so I don't understand why this isn't working.

only anomalies would be that i initially system tranferred another 3ds to this one years ago and can see the transfer app in gridlauncher (looks like a cardboard box), otherwise not sure.

Luckily a friend of mine has a 3ds with old firmware so I can transfer the oot save to mine =D

try again, sysupdater is unstable, will take more than 1 try for it to boot

I just formatted my system memory, rerunning it with oothax

EDIT: LOOKS LIKE THAT DID IT ! 9.2.0-20!
