    Woohoo! GBAtemp Milestone!

    GBAtemp rocking ass

    On September 9th 2006 we broke 40,000 members !

On average 40-90 new members sign up every single day. That's really quite amazing. Not so amazing that you don't all post! We get an average of 200-500 posts a day and a total of 12,000-15,000 posts a month!

Give yourselves all a pat on the back!

Why do bother bother signing up if they aren't going to post ever?

Well, people do also like to READ this forums (I think mostly for game info/flashcard updates and such) , and then they don't really feel the duty to post/react because they don't think it's nessecary to post reply's/are loners.

GBAtemp.net has speeded up the member increase by letting everyone log on/register to even READ the forums. I don't post a lot 'cause most information I need is already available so I just need to search for it 0_o.

#EDIT: Shit, you were faster than me [IMG]. Kinda useless post then, sorry.

I bought a NDSL in July while traveling, and when I returned, the best site about nds and gba was GBATemp. And it still does! [IMG]

I didn't even know that I could backup games! [IMG]
I read tons of reviews and topics and I am not a newbie anmore! [IMG]
    Thank you GBATemp! [IMG]

What does this date have to do with anything?

it's a little weird that this happened on... Monday (or did it really happen during Sunday?)
it's a little weird that this happened NOT in the USA... (or since it was on the intranet, that statement really doesnt count)

also, I lost a blackberry in the airport this morning. has anyone found it yet?

ps. Congrats GBAtemp! This goes to prove even further that the people running this site are doing something (many things) right!!

When will harvest moon and Mario Basketball get dumped? [IMG] They're out at nintendo world store today.. Sorry to go off topic by the way, but I'm not sure if this warrants its own topic so I might as well ask here.

my bad, it was Friday, September 9th. I had to re-read the original post and then think about the 48,000 members that must have signed up - as being a huge heck of a lot of people to had signed up... and then RE-READ the original post again (after visiting the members list) and scratch my head as to why is says 40,000 members when there were actually 48,800 listed. I guess 8,000 got lost over the years.

Either way, great job on such a missive member-base!!!!

Maybe those 8,000 are awaiting activation of their accounts...
