Dark times ahead. We lay rest to those who have fallen to spell plague, their minds will surely arise to find their bodies torn and their spells twisted beyond their command. Truly, this is not the death we wizards sought!

It's not really that random. YWG frequently updates Wood R4 and has done so since it was released.
Sadly a year with no update is pretty much the last nail in the coffin for the iEvo.

What's with the way it's packaged. People be careful and use the actual "X" button, because on one of the "do you want to install" crap ass programs bundled with this update, Babylon Toolbar, will install if you use the usual "ok" after not choosing any install options. Look for it and you'll see what I'm referring to. Thank God for AVG. I don't think Wood kernels should continue this approach, although I understand why this was done.

to everyone complaining about the installer: it is actually from Filetrip, not from the Wood authors.
and yes, it offers to install a toolbar when you download it. I know, most people hate toolbars.

    ... BUT:
    1) you can download the file directly without the installer (if you are logged in on Filetrip, there is a link on the download page to download without the installer)
    2) the installer also serves a purpose: it mirrors the file to Amazon CDN (=supposedly faster download, saves bandwidth for us)
    3) you don't have to install the toolbar, if you don't want it just uncheck the damn box
    4) the installer is only offered for Windows OS, any other OS you get the file straight off

this allows to support our site network (filetrip, gbatemp, shoptemp) because we are currently without any sponsors, since the adverts don't bring in any revenue. Obviously now that all flashcart sites are taken down there's nobody left to affiliate with us...

    more information here:
    http://gbatemp.net/t...ess-once-again/
just look back and think for a minute, this really isn't all that bad...

IN THIS THREAD: please keep discussions revolving around Wood only.
Any off-topic message will be deleted (discuss about Filetrip/installers in this thread: http://gbatemp.net/t334637-filetrip-site-updates )

Hmm, didn't realise that Portrait of Ruin was called Gallery of Labyrinth in Japan.
That title has always been a pain for flashcarts to run, took a while to figure out what the problem was, and it wasn't microSD card speed like many suspected.

    Thanks for the update!

Huh? My brother said that his card support wood (R4ISDHC Dual-Core). I suppose that's one of the fake woods.

many "r4" clones are actually ak2i clones, which support wood. the version they are running, however, is based on much older public sources. while there have been fixes for games in these wood hacks, they never feature the update core fixes. in the end, if he is happy and gaming then that is what matters.

Heh, what was the problem? :O
I remember Team Cyclops was the first to be able to fully fix the problem too.

The game would randomly freeze during gameplay.
We thought it was a microSD speed problem, but it seems it wasn't that after all.
