So I have the original R4 i'm guessing this doesn't apply to me? Sorry I haven't kept up on my firmware outside of official so is Wood just a guy making his own firmware cause R4 isn't updated often enough? I'm lost. lol

Well actually, it's an open-sourced project so anyone with the know-how could have ported the firmware to the flashcart of their choosing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Wood is open-source, so any flash cart that doesn't have official updates obviously doesn't care about their customers or image(for example, not wanting to release their updates under the GPL, caring more about their current profits than future customers).

Maybe someone could test to see if this works on a R4i gold?

They're both the same, just different name
wood works on both and both have the same kernel

This thing was cheap and I knew it would suck but it had SDHC at the time and I paid like 6$ for it, was worth every penny because until recently it worked with almost every game. Even some games other cards hard problems with and needed to be updated for.

Having gotten to play around with Wood on my M3 Simply, I just can't say enough good things about that firmware! It's simply amazing.

Wood should be an Multicard OSFlash cart companies aren't exactly willing to give their info out, which is what YWG would need.
