Women one week (or so) a month want to kill something for no good reason - you as a man must provide a weak animal or a drunken hobo to assist in this.

I think that idolizing women is almost as bad as being sexist towards them. Women are individuals, and deserve to be treated as such, not to be judged or praised based on some perceived image of "womanhood" in general. Generalization is bad.

Put on a pedestal, ya sure I want to be looked up to, who doesn't?
And I think I can change my mind as fast as any woman out there.
I'm also good at saying one thing and meaning another, and often unaware I'm doing it.

I've asked some of my women chat friends in the past this interesting question. It gives you pause when you think of it.
If the world could be changed, such that men were seen not heard, were only needed for sex, had no rights, were blamed for being the distractions they are, were either dressed just to be sex objects, or kept near naked just to be sex objects, were given no critical responsibilities, were left at home to look after the babies, even if they didn't actually give birth to them, were not permitted to wage war, and as a result of course women got to do all the dying in battle, were almost in no positions of political power, and were considered mentally unstable, which is why for all of the above. If woman were told, fine, YOU are doing everything currently done by men, including all the not so thrilling stuff, would you step up to the plate and take over?

Interestingly enough, all my women chat friends have decided to pass.

Hey, I'm willing to strip naked, stay at home, being the weak minded one, have no authority, and be given no power if you ladies want to pay the price of being the ones that get all the dirty work too.

That damn wife of mine, she comes home from work, she says she's tired, and just flops in the sofa and watches TV. She doesn't notice what I've done with the place. And then never says thanks for the beautiful dinner I cooked. She won't help around the house. And I guess I can forget the romantic evening I had planned.
And that comment about my hair was just plain mean. And she better not think I don't know about her looking at that cute guy that brings coffee into the office.

Sure, hormones hold such sway over our lives and behaviour, "personality" can be discarded entirely. Men have balls, women have the menstrual cycle. That's an oversimplified outlook. The same explanation makes women sadistic manipulative gossiping conniving scheming maniacs, by the way (as the explanation goes, "they can't resolve conflicts via brute force, for lack of balls, so they use circumspect methods to achieve their goals"). The same line of reasoning.

By the time we leave puberty, we should have a certain level of control over our hormones. "Hormones" aren't the cause, they are the excuse for our behaviour. People don't make rash/stupid decisions because of hormones (balls, ovaries, who cares), they make stupid decisions because they are being stupid.

Neither gender is a bunch of hormone-controlled zombies, or both of them are, or they're both somewhere in between. And even if female hormones are superior and wise and benevolent and lead to better behaviour... haven't you ever seen an angry woman? Never heard of a woman doing something she'll regret later on? Acting out of spite, rage, fear, jealousy? Being rash? And have you never met a calm and collected male? Someone prone to compromise and logic (come to think of it, men are stereotypically attributed with logic, but logic is the opposite of rash, and you accuse men of being rash) instead of violence and argument and testosterone?

Even if on some impossible-to-establish average women are slightly more prone to certain behaviours, and men to others, that still can't be applied to any specific person.
