The last real shooting game I've actually played has been Perfect Dark on the N64, about 8 years ago. Ever since middle school I've been shifting towards DS and PC games. I got my Xbox a few days ago, along with a couple shooting games (Halo 3 and Stranglehold). F---!!! After so many years of PC gaming I CANNOT get the hang of the Xbox controller. I suck so bad at the whole 2-thumb joystick thing. Are there any tricks I can use to ease my transition?

I don't want to give up on Xbox shooters.

eBay is my friend - I've found one for nearly $30 less... but that's still quite expensive.
