Hardware with component cables is it suppose to look blocky?

i have component cables on for my wii i'm running it 480P on my samsung 46 inch 1080P tv and it doesnt look good, but it might also be i'm so use to to playing 720 and 1080P on my 360. Do you think it could be the cables? i know it's not my tv

Yeah, it looks pretty terrible. Its just the Wii.

Its better then the orther options, I use it too, 60 hz is good but component is better!

Thats why i use an old flat tube 15 inch TV with scart ... nothing beats it because it hides all the ugly gfx that HD shows.

cant say it looks blocky on my 42" even compared to hdmi on the 360
