Hacking With Acekard 2i and a DS Lite, is GBA emulation possible?

Or would I need to purchase a 3 in 1 or something. I am unsure. Google has not aided me much and given me unspecific answers.

There's no real option yet for slot 1 emulation on a DS. Even the DS iPlayer does a poor job of it. We'll have to wait and see what the Supercard DStwo brings. The best option is the 3in1 if you want to play GBA on a DS Lite

Ok, ak2i does not support

gba emulation

only slot - 2 carts

But anyway there is one slot - 1 cart that can emulate gba.

It is known as the iplayer, It has a bulilt in proccesor that allows it to play many video and music formats without converting file format

Because of this proccesing power someone created a hombrew for this cart to allow it to emulate gba

Unfortunately this cart does not support commercial nds rom loading.

So in your case, you coulkd get 3 in 1 or you could get an iplayer along with your ak2i. Be warned though, emulation of gba in that emu(iplayer one) is good but not perfect, I heard (and tried) and noticed that some gbas have glitches or fail to load but it is very minimal (from what i remember

Is 3 and 1 a safe buy? I once bought R4 clone that I could not get firmware for. Is this a problem with 3 and 1? I was considering purchasing from http://www.leetmod.com/ (http://www.leetmod.com/ezflash-3-in-1-gba-browser-and-rumble-slot2-expansion-pack-p-16.html) as it seems to be one of few places to sell GBA emulator to USA shipping decent. I also am struggling to find tutorial to use 3 and 1 with Acekard, want to make sure I can understand it before I purchase, or if I need to purchase 2nd micro SD chip. (Should be simple but that's what I thought about R4 clone.)

I don't think there are any fake/clone 3-in-1's, but I could be wrong.


I've only heard one or two mentions of leetmod.com, and I think one of them was asking if they were reputable...
Anyway, for roughly the same price (incl shipping) you can get the same thing from 0shippingzone.com or gamekool.com (both free shipping) which I think more people have experience buying from.
