@shutterbug2000 I edited the code to include a file browser (from nds-hb-menu) that displays the banner from the .nds files.
Since I'm unable to compile it, I'm gonna see if you can edit the code a bit more to get it to work.
Extract it to the 3ds folder of the source.

Don't run it on Citra. There's basically no point.

Anyway, playing NSMB and it's hella slow, but I did the tricks to get to World 5 and I'm going to see how well this goes.

If you are trying to run desmume on anything that is two or three years old than yes you will have a hard time doing anything with the emulator. Now if you were to run the emulator on newer 2015 or 2016 pc hardware than desmume should run like a Tesla model s.
