i don't understand why every1 is so hyped about rage or HOW it won so many rewards it's no different than doom 3 or quake 4 ID havn't been able to make a decent fps since doom 2. rage is just another fucking generic run and gun shooter just like all the other fps made these days!! why can't anyone see that shooters are dead the market is flooded with shit like their destroying gaming as we know it let shooters die already! of course all the gfx whores are gonna disagree with me -watches them enter thread-

They've given the "Best Online Multiplayer" Award to a game that hasn't had any footage or demos of its multiplayer released. Okay...

Seriously, all they showed was another cinematic and then just said "Well, the online multiplayer kinda works like this..". Until I see a demo of multiplayer in action I'm not convinced Brotherhood will have good online.

I can't find the video right now but I am certain that there was a demo video of Assassins Creed Brotherhoods multiplayer where the player was the courtesan and it actually showed gameplay.

If you want a small taste of what it will be like you should try the iphone/itouch app "Assassins Creed II Multiplayer" its actually good when you learn to understand the controls.

They showed a cinematic sequence of players blending into crowds or just chasing each other down and then "explained" it but I don't think there was any actual gameplay. I'd personally give the Best in Show multiplayer to at least Twisted Metal or something.

Ahem, I see your point, but you need to educate yourself about what this game is and how it's different. I'm really looking forward to it.

how is it different you run around with big guns following 1 path and shoot anything that moves just like the over 9000 shooters made b4 it. so it's got fancy gfx who cares i don't play games for gfx.

After seeing more footage of rage i can see why some people would like it so much. I'm not one of the people though. It just looks like the got every gimmick and innovation in past FPS' and slammed them into this game with an uninspired art style. Another brutal post apocalyptic world run by clans? Yeah not that interested. But if people dont mind that go for it. I'll stick to other experiences.

Good but predictable choices. Rage is definitely a game that I'm looking forward to, but it does have to prove itself first. I hope they release a demo, I'll probably end up buying it then. Still, it's primarily evolutionary, not revolutionary. You should probably stay away from it if you hate shooters.

Of course, Portal 2 will be a lot better, probably the best game of the year. I'm looking forward to Assassin's Creed and Hot Pursuit too.

Probably because you don't know shooters.

As for Dance Central... I don't know. It's a better concept than DDR or retarded stuff like Just Dance but whether it'll actually work, especially with Kinect, is a problem. And whether it'll more than just a one-trick pony that you play when you get drunk with your friends is another problem.

Rage looks like Bioshock in Left 4 Dead-esque settings. Doesn't look bad, but rehashing the same ideas isn't something I'm too keen on.
