ooo Sounds intresting
wrong section sorry :-p
how do you get the signal to your pc....?
This is definitely a very interesting project. I'm looking forward to when its functionality increases.
Bluetooth adapter I'd imagine.
You probably need a bluetooth adapter
Not really a problem for most people too, seeing as generic Bluetooth dongles run for just under 10 bucks...
too bad i dont have one
All I can think of is to get this to work and go back and finish HL2 while sitting on my couch in front of my TV !
So what does this mean exactly? Would we eventually be able to play Wii games on our computer if you buy a Wiimote and have bluetooth?
I don't think its for Wii games, but more like using the Wiimote as a gamepad or a mouse for your PC games.
if this works, im getting a bluetooth adapter
If it does all the motion as well, then 1st person shootup games could be cool.
It would be impossible without a sensor, however, it shouldn't be hard to make one!
If this works good, I'm definitely not getting a wii. Why play crappy console fps when there's Quake/Half-life/Unreal tournament etc on pc? Quake 3 is the best game ever FYI. No shit.
The wii is now almost double the original $199 (in Sweden), there's only one good game (and I'm not a huge Zelda fan), the HW is basically an overclocked GCN and there's currently no way to pirate games.
The Xbox 360 looks more and more compelling to me. It's actually cheaper if I get the core version. Ofcourse, I'll give the wii a go before I decide. Only a week to go now anyway.
Been messing around with this for a bit now. It works pretty good if you use the right script. But it's still a bit too chunky for surfing the web.
$6.99 US Delivered
This sounds awesome, somebody try it!
Holy f'k that was quick. And the guy doesn't even have a Wiimote yet! Amazing.
Looks like I'll have to have a bluetooth adapter shipped to me. I'm kinda hoping to use a classic controller for PC as well. : D
