There doesnt seem to be too much talk about Pokemon D/P in the western world. I know it is a huge hit in Japan, selling over 4 million copies, but i was just curious to see how popular it will be when it hits EU/US/AU.

EDIT - For all intents & purposes buying = "acquiring" ;]

Yeah, I'll probably get around to it sooner or later. I have toooons of games I still need to finish first though. As far as the version I'll pick up? No freaking idea. Which sounds better to you?

Call of Duty 3 - Wii
Excite Truck - Wii
Need for Speed Carbon - Wii
Castlevania Portrait of Ruin - DS
Phoenix Wright II - DS
Resident Evil 4 - GCN

Wow, I keep getting new games and never finishing my old ones.

I have never been a fan of the Pokemon series. It's just not appropriate towards my personal gaming tastes. On the other hand, several of my friends and even a couple of family members are indeed anticipating it. Nearly the entire classroom that my sister-in-law teaches are eager for it to arrive. Mind you, it's a 4th grade class, but that's 20-something potential sales right there for Nintendo.

Is there a possibility nintendo will disable the online features if the game is played via an emulator like the M3/R4?

Whoops. Picked no before reading about "acquiring". I figured this was about supporting the developers. I'm going to play it, of course. I'll probably get Diamond. The legendary looks cooler.

I can't wait to play Pokemon again. I pretty much skipped the GBA versions because I didn't really like them but I tried the DS version in Japanese and decided that it's finally time to play some Pokemon again.

I'm disappointed that they won't include all the landscape from the old games in the new ones, though.

I'd love to visit Johto and Kanto again. That's also what I didn't like about the GBA versions.
