Currently, pressing Down+L+R+A+B at the same time in Wood Firmware is soft-reset, how about
replacement for the sub-menu in game to dis/enable cheat, use soft-reset, even a text reader inside?
Can these be done with R4's hardware? Is it possible? Thanks the authors and sorry for my English.

I believe it's POSSIBLE... but easier said than done, especially since Yellow Wood Goblin's main focus is the Acekard RPG, and if it works for the R4 then great, if not too bad.

probably not happening because r4 was only made for games and video, no extra features.
extra features = more processing power =/= R4
the supercard can do this but it has a powerful cpu made for this.

no new features for R4. end of story. if they make an in-game menu for r4 with extra features like that, you have my permission to hunt me down and pimp-slap me so hard my teeth fall out.

i think that wood on r4 is good enough.
if we can play games we couldn't before, i think that beats extra features.

I'm pretty sure ingame menu is software side...unless it really does need something that the R4 doesn't have...I mean acekards ARE capable of doing that, but it was something dropped because it is a hassle.

^programming the menu into the system is software side. being able to use the in-game menu is hardware side because if you don't have enough cpu to support it it will crash.

If I'm recalling correctly, it was a dare/bet that Yellow Wood Goblin couldn't get WoodRPG to work on the R4 that gave birth to WoodR4.

Really? I would have considered being able to play new games on something as old and clone worthy as an R4 a feature in itself.

If you're talking about the old private beta of AKAIO having RTS, it's true. Another World posted a screenshot of it here on GBAtemp.

i am not sure how this picture proves anything because that could easily be photoshopped. if you send me an Acekard with a link to this firmware, then i will believe you. until then, go on living in your dreamworld.

Look at the URL of the image, if it wasn't credible it would never have been posted.

Yes, because AnotherWorld is known for photoshopping images and submitting them to GBAtemp which is known for spreading false information.....

oh wait... no, they are not.
(Also, the EXIF info doesn't mention Photoshop at all.)
