I'm tired of it's beta-HOTFIX-ness. When's it gonna be a "actual" update that has nothing changed but the team's official approval?

When I updated to 1.9g my wii dvd drive spins slower. It seems like all backups are running at 3x. Ordered mine from Eurasia.nu so i'm pretty sure it isn't a clone. Anyone else have this problem? When I flash back to 1.9b everything goes back to normal. Would be nice if they fixed this in the final release.
I know the reason why they put the ass on their update screen, together with the 666 on the top right.

The update wipes all your settings. Put the config disc back in and set it to 6x.
Yeah I really don't see why people would care for any more updates... The Wiikey plays your games... That's what it's supposed to do... What else? >_>

You don't need to set it 6x!! The nintendo wii's factory default IS 6x!
The reason your game is going slower is because the new code transferring system that the update gave the wiikey is stealthier. So it takes a tiny bit longer to register.
just to ntoe you don't need to use the config disk again after you have updated to the latest firmware 1.9g, doing so will simply reset the settings and you'll have to enable them again
The 3X bug has been noted in other forums. Apparently no matter what you set it to it will never spin up to 6X speed when using 1.9g, but will if you downgrade back to 1.9b.

I personally don't notice any difference in loading times the only thing that is slower is when I first put the game in it takes a second longer to recognize it in the main menu. So, I just assumed it was the new stealth code transfer system letting the system know it's ok to boot.
