My iPod Touch (iOS 4.3.5, 4G) emulators are kind of crappy in graphical and sound terms and even occasionally exit or stop giving sound for a moment. I wonder if updating the iOS to v6.1 would improve the emulators and fix the aforementioned problems. Just want to know before I buy a iControlPad.

Though if I do backup the iPod Touch and Jailbreak files, will I keep EVERYTHING from the iPod like all the Notes and Pictures?

Lots of the emulators aren't even updated to iOS 5 and won't be for iOS 6 Either. also theres not a working untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1. I dont suggest it. I tried iOS 6 and it really slowed down my device. there making everything for the newer devices with more ram. I downgraded to 5.1.1 luckily
Whoever says iOS 6 is optimized for ipod touch 4g is lying to you

With each new iOS revision, more features are added, and the strain on the device's processor is increased. If anything, updating your iPod will makes your emulators run more poorly.

Back-ups will save Notes and Pictures.
