My iPod Touch (iOS 4.3.5, 4G) emulators are kind of crappy in graphical and sound terms and even occasionally exit or stop giving sound for a moment. I wonder if updating the iOS to v6.1 would improve the emulators and fix the aforementioned problems. Just want to know before I buy a iControlPad.

Though if I do backup the iPod Touch and Jailbreak files, will I keep EVERYTHING from the iPod like all the Notes and Pictures?

I don't think updating iOS it self will fix the emulators. I think you have to update the emulators them self.

If you backup with iTunes, yes. But, if you want to keep your jailbreak stuff, you'll have to use a Cydia app before you backup.
