Hacking Will this be safe?

I need to install cIOS rev9 to play gamecube backups. Is it safe to install multiple cIOSs?

What are you talking about? They override each other and cIOS's don't affect Gamecube loading, cMIOS's do.....

Honestly since the cMIOS is whats running the game, if you have bc and cMIOS installed, I dont think the rev of the cIOS affects anything.

Bc signals the loading module so you can get the gamecube backup launcher .2 into the disc channel. So yeah, if you want it you can. If not, just use the backup loader and you just need an MIOS.

thats what i did... i think. i used MIOS patcher to install cMIOS v8 and I pressed X on the gamecube controller to get the backup loader but the disk cant be read.

Depending on the game (or the medium), some games usually can't be used with Gamecube Backup Loader. A compatibility list can be found here: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php?tit...patibility_List

The other guy is right. cIOSs jsut override eachother. Doesn't matter if you installe multiple ones.
