    Are you looking into writing a GBA emulator? You might want to start by seeing if you can port an existing open-source GBA emulator rather than starting from scratch.

    You would probably be better off porting an existing emulator, maybe VBA GX since it runs very well on the Wii/vWii and the hardware is similar.
    The link posted by Team Fail is a very good reference but unless you are a very skilled programmer and already highly experienced with assembly and low-level programming in general I don't think making a GBA emulator from scratch is an achievable goal.
