I'm still debating whether I should shell-swap an NA Super Mario 3D Land Bundle or region-change an imported JPN handheld. I'd most likely lose eShop access if I were to import, but shell-swapping prevents that issue. That being said, I have absolutely zero experience shell-swapping handhelds altogether.

Your could ask a local shop to do it for you, I'm sure there's an electronics shop somewhere around your area.
