Hacking Will the Netflix DVD update my Wii and disable all hacks...

When the Netflix dvd is installed.. it wants to update.. but I use the loader.. and it is ok.. it asks me to enable my wifi... but I won't until I know it won't disable everything...
So will it still update my system and cause all my hacks to disable..

You WILL ALWAYS have to click on YES in order for an update to start.

Just dump the disk to HDD and play from the loader.


Netflix DVD has System Menu 4.2 on it which stubs IOS slots so updating Via Disk or Internet is NEVER a good idea.

recently received the disc from netflix, registered online,
didn't use any loaders. works fine.
also you can get 20 coins from nintendo club if you register the legit disc.
btw,im in system 4.2U softmodded

Actually, the Netflix disc contains System Menu 4.1. The update is probably nagging you for boot2 v4, which should only be updated via DOP-Mii.
