Hacking Will s G6Lite work on a GBASP?

In the big shell? Seeing as it has GBA mode I assume so, but I want to make sure before I switch shells, so could someone confirm/ deny if it works on a GBA?

I tried mine on a friends SP and the GBA icon menu thingy didn't work right (screen flickered madly)... I had to browse the text list and run the games that way, but yes it did work.
