Will playing BoTW on an unmodded WiiU prevent future WiiU hacking?

    Asking question now so I don't mess things up if I change my mind.

    Right now I'm thinking of not bothering to hack my WiiU to be able to play games off an external HDD. I just bought a copy of BoTW and am afraid if I start playing, the game will update the WiiU to a firmware version where hacking is no longer available (I could not find what firmware version is needed to play BoTW).

    Right now my WiiU version is 5.5.1 U. Is it safe for me to just start playing without worrying?
