will japanese save games work on north american games

    i am playing pkmn platinum and i was wondering when the north american version comes out will i be able to use my japanese save?

    im using a cyclods evo flash cart

    and if this is the wrong place plz tell me

    No they are different languages.

    Some games work, some don't.

    You just have to try it when it comes out.

    well duh they are different languages but essentially they are the same game

    Sometimes. It's best done on simpler games that don't save language specific things like character names.

    It'll work for Pokemon D/P. But not really recommended.

    It should work. Most games will work like that but it's only if the ROMs are identical besides the language.
