i can't believe there would be a better game for the ds than ff3 but maybe ff4 is even more awesome
Im thinking it will. It sounds like its going to be great, and I think it was even advertized somewhere that it was better than FF3, lol.
FF3 didn't set the bar that high to be honest
This. It was a good game, but not the best by far.
So hopefully FF4 will be better.
i liked FF3 alot, and i tihkn FF4 will be definitely better!
Slow, not addictive and just a copy of the old game with better graphics. New games should be more dynamic, as it is the old limitations of tvgaming systems that made it that way (such as the random monster appearing, ffs that's older than miracle warriors). I don't know, a port/remake should have something new to it.
Yes, yes it will. ATB FTW
now i really cant wait for ff4
FF4 is better, I already played the game outt !! i'ts awesome !!!
FF3 was too slow and difficult for me (old school difficult) and I lost interest about 5hrs in. Hopefully FF4 will be an improvement.
Actually FFIII DS is not very difficult, i funded it easier compared to the NES version. It's true it was a lot like the original, only with better graphics and sounds, but i liked it a lot. I don't find the game too slow, compared for example to DQ III. Actaully i find FFIII one of the best rpg for the NDS System.
FFIV will be a LOT better, starting from the most important thing: the story and the character. I don't mind very much about the graphics and some other things like voice acting, because i focus more on the gameplay. And about the difficulty, FFIV DS will be more difficult then FFIII DS.
I loved FFIII, best NDS game for me, but I hope that FFIV will beat it....
I thought FFIII was a pretty fast game, battles could be done in like 5 seconds, I loved how they let you skip just about everything.
as for difficulty, I didn't find it hard, required a bit of old school grinding, but once you get that out of the way it was pretty simple.
Exactly. It requires only a little grinding.
The original FFIV was already a lot better than FF3 IMO..
So, this should answer your question
Everyone must played this game !!! it's super !!!
Well, FFIII definitely wasn't for everyone. Personally, I absolutely loved it, but I grew up playing RPGs on graph paper, with a bag full of many sided dice and a group of friends with lots of imagination. I like the ATB system, but I still generally prefer a good, old-fashioned turn-based RPG, at least between those two systems. Now, something like Soma Bringer -- that game has certainly raised the bar on DS, as far as RPGs go, and the real question should be: Will FFIV be better than Soma Bringer?
It'll be different. Either way, it's not exactly a new game. Expect awesome DS visuals and production values, but otherwise, it's still FFIV, and for many, that's not a new thing. I'm still very excited to play it, though.
I don't really appreciate this new graphics. Characters are too tall; SNES graphics was just top-notch.
I played FF5 on SNES back in the old days. I self taught Japanese to play that game. It was so great. Beat it like dozen times and still can't get enough. I love the job system, how it adds so much variety to the battles.
5's job system being more refined than that of 3, I have to say 5>3 at least. Didn't really like 3 or 4 though. Except Onion Knights.
Me too... Tellah simply looks UGLY... And so is Yang. The rest are good in my opinion.
