In summer in Australia it can get super hot, above 40°C. If someone were to add a bit of whiskey to a bottle of water and leave it in the freezer overnight would drinking the supercooled solution freeze his or her throat?

No. But if you drink a glass of liquid nitrogen, that would sufficiently freeze your mouth, throat, and esophogus.

No, not enough of the cold would be transferred in the 2 seconds the liquid was flowing down your throat for it to freeze solid, you would damage and kill some cells though.

Also supercooled means the liquid as a whole is below its freezing point but there is no crystal for the ice to grow on so it stays liquid, lowering the freezing point doesnt count as supercooling.

With actual supercooled water your cells would create a nucleation site in your throat and you would suffocate from a blocked air way full of ice.

no, and also water with alittle alcohol inside would still freeze and you wouldn't be able to drink it

The problem with this solution would be the unsufferable headache afterwards!
