Carbine Studios, the developer of the MMO WildStar and founded by former Blizzard employees, is shutting down. The game is also coming to an end.

Studio owner NCSoft confirmed the closure in a statement to Kotaku."Today, we are closing Carbine Studios and will begin the process of winding WildStar down to ultimately shutter the game," the company said.

Refunds will be available for in-game purchases. Additionally, NCSoft said it's "in the process of identifying the teams that will be doing the work to bring WildStar to a close."

"These decisions are very difficult to make and we are in the midst of shifting as many of our teammates as possible into other roles within the organisation," NCSoft said.

I played this game when it got out, and came back a few months ago, and to be honest this is everything but a surprise. Servers were quite empty, and apparently, no real new content since the game went F2P. While the game had some very interesting things (gameplay differences between classes, omnipresent humor, captivating lore,...), they forgot about endgame and veteran players, and in my opinion, because of that they failed to create a sturdy core of users, and fatally also failed to bring new players.

Here's another video fog isn't being displayed properly on several games. Nintendo life also reported this. Water Temple in oot water reflection isn't emulated properly either the whole point of the gimmick of that room. Graphical glitches and poor emulation shouldn't be present at $30 bucks

You can't save ghost data either in Mario Kart 64. Wasn't an issue on VC for Wii and Wii U.

Even if they fix these issues I'm still not buying it. $30 for drip fed n64 games is fucking retarded. Their online service is still shit.

also costing only $20 kinda excuses the poor online services a little bit, $50 demands better quality online
