Hi I updated to HBC 1.0.8 a moment ago and I noticed that neither Scummvm or wiixplorer are longer able of detecting a USB device, is this normal? or is it just me? everything else is working fine, I guess it has something to do with HBC now using ios58 and USB2.0.

    thank you

AFAIK, WiiXplorer still uses IOS 202. If you don't have it installed, then that's the reason it doesn't work (it works for me). I don't really know a thing about ScummVM...

The new one (updated to r196 or something) uses IOS58 to load USB.

But it is still able to use Hermes' IOSes. It's just a matter of changing the settings, I think. Anyway, thanks for telling me it was updated, [IMG].

fixed!! new version r197 of wiixplorer fixed the problem, so I guess it has something the other version were missing, I hope someone is still working on scummvm so they can release an update and fix it.

r197 just goes to a black screen for me. Wonder if it has anything to do with my NTFS partition? [IMG]

I just use WiiXplorer to manage my SD card so I can't test out my HDD as I have no apps in it.

In my case it does not recognize any Usb device, then I run CFG Loader and then I re-enter wiixplorer then it recognizes my usb device but still does not display any files as if my usb device was empty when indeed I have files in it. I previously removed the 202 cios.

Burton log onto MSN please if you can. I have the stuff ready. Email would not send. Is there any way I could attach you the stuff in a PM if you can't get on MSN today (MSN finally works on computer now for me).

I updated to 1.0.8, and I think everyone may be interested.

WiiXplorer: Newest Rev can read SD, Wii Disc, GC Disc, NTFS and FAT32 from HDDs. I set it to use IOS222.
Scummvm: 1.0.7 reset my setting for some reason, reckon 1.0.8 did too, I should check, but 1.0.7 just made me add the folder paths again.

And yes, I do have IOS58 installed. Anyone know why the HBC is still running IOS61 on my 4.2U Wii?

Make sure it isn't patched (it must be a clean installation), and that it's latest version is installed on the console.

If you installed IOS58 after updating to HBC 1.08, run the HackMii installer again to reinstall HBC. That's what I had to do in order to get it to use IOS58.
