    everytime i load it, it resets the wii i've patched it with freethewads

    It did the same for me, I had to update the Wii firmware.

    this happened to me, back when it was first released, im sure it required a shop update and not a firmware update. not sure it effects anything else if you do this with all the updates out at the present.

    i can't seem to update mine cause i don't have a connection to the net on the wii

    use wwpacker, extract the wad and then rebuild specifying IOS33 flag. The game (and any other that requires a later IOS) will work as normal then.

    it packs and unpacks WADs, as the name implies.

    No it isn't dangerous.
