This looks like it has the potential to be awesome.
I have yet to try it, but this games looks similar to Pepsiman or Tomena Sanner.
hmm this looks like it could be cool, i need to look it up!
wow apparently there was a secretive viral video campaign on the first of the bit. trip games. hte others look... ok but this one looks awesome. really awesome.
Very awesome game, difficult too. Reminds me of the old NES games where you have to jump at the right place to pass areas.
Also, is there anyway to rip the level screens and put them in a long picture? Similar to the SMB3 level picture
In my opinion, the best out the bit trip games
Looks great....first thing that I thought of "Pitfall on steroids"
I'm going to check this out tonight.
I find this one much better than tomesanner...the timing required is a lot more lenient; if you miss something, you just start from the beginning instead of losing a life...much less frustrating than tomesanner in my opinion XD
I can confirm that the game is, indeed, awesome. Buy it, folks! Play it, love it, and then sit in awe of simplicity as a masterpiece.
Looks to be the most ambitious and stylish BIT.TRIP game yet!
...Crap. I just remembered I have to stumble through the slow, tedious Wii Shop Channel to download this.
But I'll do it for you, BIT.TRIP RUNNER!
its challenging too but great
Good game so far
When you die in this game you go back to beggining of the stage... You don't have chekpoint or anything... And you will die A LOT. In some levels you will have to restart 30 times or even more.
This is not my idea of fun... I actually not a masochist... LOL.
I don't know how old you are but I need to tell you - That is Old-School gaming! No frickin save-slots, no frickin passwords, just you and your skills vs the game!
btw - here is a review of Bit.Trip Runner (from nintendolife, my favorite WiiWare review site)
Yeah, old school gaming. Nothing wrong with a hard game, that's awesome.
But... checkpoints is a must these days. Or at least for this game. The game itself doesn't get really easier, but if you could had checkpoints, it would all be more amusing. Maybe not right from the start, but after you died five times or something like that.
It's just I'm stuck in an long level. Really long. If you have to do it all over again, and again, and again, the game isn't fun anymore. I like hard games, but I also like to finish the game is it is really good game. Which it is. But too frustrating.
