WiiU not much more powerful than PSVita, according do Nicalis Founder

Tyrone Rodrigues, founder of Nicalis, made some few interesting statements on his Twitter:

"Stop lying to yourself, the Wii U is not much more powerful than a PS Vita"

he also said:

"In other news, evaluating Afterbirth for Wii U, new 3DS and PS Vita. Not running at a performance level I’m happy with"

Nicalis recently been trying to port Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth to other platforms, which explains these statements. What's your opinion on this matter? Agree? Disagree?

Nintendo really needs to step their game up and give fans what they deserve.

Nintendo is fully committed to the Wii U, at least until the next generation is on the shelves, which means you are going to see a lot of impressive exclusives being released on it for at least another year. Right now, Sony seems to be treating the Vita the same way that Microsoft treats Vista. You'll get security patches, but don't expect any new Sony-published AAA games.

When it became clear the Wii U was struggling, Nintendo doubled-down. It didn't pay off, but it let consumers know that they're not buying a brick, either now or in the future. When the Vita started struggling, Sony pulled out and eventually put it on life support.

I see commitment, but not too much commitment in the Wii U, all what the console has left for is just games no one can look forward to, to be honest.

Yeah, no one is looking forward to Xenoblade X, Star Fox Zero, or freaking Zelda U at all right?? I mean these aren't franchises that have huge fan bases at all, so yeah, your point is totally spot on. (Heck, I'm also looking forward to Pokken Tournament, though I don't think there's much fan hype for that title at this point).
