Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if any of you (prepared on this branch) can help me restore my wiiU. I'll explain the situation of the console with Fw.5.5.5 after using the decaffeinator to restore the vWii turned off and when I turned it back on it gave me this problem:
1. it turns on, it checks the disk twice but nothing appears on the TV (black screen)
2. after checking the disk the blue light remains fixed.
3. the Gamepad manages to turn on the console but does not connect to it.
Following the guide I tried to restore it using pico zero (Udpih) at various different times but unfortunately it did not work. Now I have ordered the nand-aid v.2.1. I would like to ask you after installing (soldering) the nand-aid what I have to do.
If it can be useful I have the backup of the console made before the problem occurred.
Thanks in advance

Make sure you have no disc in the drive and no hard drives connected to the console.
Does your console power off if you use udpih without having the recovery_menu on the SD Card?
If it doesn't work you can try the udpih build for the pico I attached below. Make sure to not have the recovery_menu on the SD Card, only see if your console powers off.

I don't think that the NAND-AID will help here. If you didn't experience problems with the eMMC before, it would be a great coincidence that it would die right at that moment.

Hi Gary,
I followed the procedure you suggested and the console turns off. Is this a good sign? What should I do now?
Thanks for the help.

that means the exploit worked, but it couldn't read the recovery_menu from the SD card. Check if it is correctly formatted and the file is in the root of the SD.

what do you mean by purple flashing? If you got the recovery menu working, you can dump the logs and upload them here. If the LED is static purple, but you don't see the menu, you can also navigate blindly.

You can also try to install ISFShax, that should give you display output then at least in minute (where you can also dump the logs) and it is an protection if things get worse.

Hi Gary, as udiph I used the one you attached. As for the purple LED, it does not stay solid but flashes, this comes out when I connect the Udiph to the console after running disk check twice. Nothing appears on the TV.
sorry for the english but i use google translate

That's good news. Yeah, the default recovery_menu is not going to work with this build. I'll send you a custom recovery_menu in a bit.

@Daveblu Copy the recovery_menu I attached below to the root of your SD Card.
Then run udpih and the LED should start blinking purple, after a bit it should stop blinking. Then you can power off the console.
On your SD Card there should now be a "logs" folder. Zip that folder and upload it here.

Hi Gary,
in the decaf I used aggressive mode, now that you mention it, I also remember using nand restore v1 inserting my backup and halfway through loading the console turned off and I had this problem. Is there a way to restore the console again without soldering?
Thanks for the support

Ah yeah, that would explain it. Check your chat messages, I'm trying to figure out what went wrong exactly.
After that we can fully wipe the SLCCMPT and hopefully restore your console again.

Ok, thanks guys!
To install ISFShax what do I need and which of your guides can I follow?
I don't see anything on the screen to proceed with the installation

You cannot easily install ISFShax in your current situation. Please check the chat message I sent you and then we can proceed with getting your console working again.

The ISFShax setup guide has instructions for installing it blindly
That doesn't work since they cannot use the normal recovery_menu.
