Hi Everyone!

I have two young girls (5 and 6) who have been playing the Mario games using retropie. They have also started watching other people play Mario on youtube and they love the new super Mario bros games on wii/wiiu and beyond. I have decided that I am going to give them a WiiU and get those games installed on it for them (I'd like to do Mario Suncshine, New Mario Bros Wii, the fan made update, etc). I already modded the WiiU and have CBHC and an external drive attached. A few questions;

1. What is the best tool to use to install the Wii games as channels on the main screen.
---a. I see Tecomoon's here but heard it's been abandoned: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-wiivc-injector-script-gc-wii-homebrew-support.483577/
---b. Here's another injector by Nico: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-ultimate-vc-injector-for-wiiu.486781/page-25

2. Should I add an emulator as well or just better to continue using retropie and just teach the kids?

3. Anything I should be thinking about? I'm thinking of also putting on the Mario Party games. I bought 2 Pro controllers for them to use for this to make it easier.

Thanks everyone! Really excited to get my girls into the Mario world :)

I just recently used Tecomoons injector and it still works fine.

Retroarch is good for older consoles. Wii U retroarch can’t do ps1 or n64. There is a option you can click which prevents people from changing your options and need a password to access them.
