How come none of my settings are saved and I have to do it over every time I launch the emulator?
Do you click in the "Save settings" button to your SD or USB after every time you change any setting(s)?
Does it display an error message whwn trying to save, etc.?

Yeah, it says saved successfully or something like that but nothing is actually saved
Things to try:

1. Delete your old settingsRX2022.cfg file and all your config files inside wiisxrx/settings/ and try making a new config file in WiiStation.
2. Double check your SD card or USB drive
3. Where are you loading WiiStation? From HBC or from a forwarder channel?

It seems that Tail Concerto doesn't detect either the standard or analog controller (I'm using an original GC controller).
I found a post on reddit of someone with this problem but on Retroarch. He solved it by changing the core to Beetle HW

How would this be solved on Wiistation?
I've tried changing plugins but it didn't work.

Hello! How far are we to make the game Thunder Force V: Perfect System...work perfect?
It's still always not possible to bypass the first boss of the 1st Stage.
It's the best action game on pS1 with R-type Delta, Resident evils and Castlevania SOTN, this is a must to make work!

Hey ho guys. This is a request for a feature, and I'm not even sure if it's possible, so let me know if it's not. Could there be an added feature to WiiStation to where it never lets the Wiimote fall asleep? Let me explain. So instead of using a Classic Controller for this emulator, I have a Retro Rosseta plugged into my Wiimote. That's a little box that has some boards that run Blueretro, a Bluetooth controller software. So then I'm able to use my PS4 controller playing this PS1 emulator, which is great. But one of the problems is that the Wiimote can fall asleep after some time of inactivity. Which isn't a problem when your using the Wiimote, you just press a button and it wakes back up, and goes on with the Wii game. But if your not using it, you have to reach over to it and press a button to wake it up, cause any input to the Wiimote port doesn't do that. And for some PS1 games with long cutscenes, that can be annoying, or gets you instantly hurt by whatever is going on. Does anyone see where I'm going here? So I'm thinking if there could be some random input that wouldn't effect any random input that wouldn't disrupt the game, but keep the Wiimote from falling asleep. But I dono if that's possible. Anyone chime in on this? Thanks guys.

I use a BlueRetro for GameCube that connects 4 GameCube controller plugs into the Wii/Gamecube and assigns 4 bluetooth devices to each. I use it for a 8BitDo Arcade Stick to play SHMUPs in the WII (Arcade, Snes, NeoGeo, PSX, etc..)

It never turns off because it is a GameCube port, wired to the console.

I got it (a clone I believe) for about 15 bucks IIRC.

Funny, I've been thinking this too.

One day I'll set up my computer so I can compile this app myself, and I'll add this feature. I have just been lazy lol. I would probably do it as a setting like "Wii Remote Sleep Timer" and make it 1, 5, 10, 20, Never.

I'd probably make 10 minutes the default. That should be good enough for the longest cutscenes and credits. IMO, sleeping the controller is only good as a failsafe so that the remote isn't on for 10 hours if you leave it unattended. Beyond that, I think aggressive sleeping makes the emulator harder to use.

yeah i saw it, btw @xjsxjs197 had to remove the new TurboCD option from PCSX-ReARMed and reincorporated temporally the old Fast Load logic (code).
Also added a few fixes in HID anf SoftGPU.

Btw, he/she accidentally merged OpenGX changes but it's still not ready, so it was reverted.
opengxGpu branch has been updated since then, but i really haven't tried the new changes.

Oh yeah, I don't think I mentioned, I own a Wii U, no GC ports :(

That sounds perfect @Kirby6417. I didn't know if there was a way to create a input without effecting anything going on in the game. But yeah, if you could do that, it would be gratefully appreciated :)

What's wrong with the turboCD code?

Thanks for the great work on this emulator ! This really solidifies the wii as a must have for retro emulation on a CRT. Love the 240p support !

I'm trying to use the usb-HID support feature to play using a wired dualshock 3 controller wired but I'm quite stumped as to how to make it work. The controller shows up in nintendont's hid test tool and I've found what I think is the required .ini file but I'm not sure how to set up the emulator, where to place the ini file.

Nintendont does not seem to react to my dualshock even with native controller off so I must be doing something wrong. Hope someone has figured it out ?

Edit: I've looked into it a bit more and figured out how to use the HID functionality of nintendon't. I've looked into the ini files needed for that. Not sure I would have gotten full dualshock support since the .ini files are meant to mimic a gamecube controller and not playstation controller
