Can someone who installed their Wiinja by way of using an IC retention piece please post a pic as to how they fit it inside the Wii casing and how the wires are soldered?

with 'ic retention piece' do you mean like a chip-holder? If so then take a look at this site, I myself did it like this and it fits perfectly
