This is a video of the Installation Process of the Wiinja. I know it is in Spanish, but its just for you to get a picture of what you are going to be doing once the Wiinja gets to your door.

Happy watching!!

WATCH ME BABY!!

Man!! that Wiinja box is tiny!! It looked huge from the pictures, but wow!!

I CAN'T WAIT!!

BY THE WAY, This video actually proves that the Wiinja works, and he shows you by disconnecting the A/V cables, putting in an original disc, and puting in several copies as well. I have yet to see that with the Cyclowiz, and I am not saying that the Cyclowiz does not work, im pretty sure it works just as well as the Wiinja. I just personally prefer the Wiinja. (Plus "Wiinja" sounds cooler then "Cyclowiz") not that that was important or anything.

In my opinion its better than that "review" of the Cyclowiz that MaxConsole put up. Man, MC is either 1.) Very biased towards the Cyclowiz. 2.) Cyclowiz is paying for this propaganda 3.) Both 1, and 2.

You could always just put some electrical tape over the wires, not as effective but not everyone has a hot glue gun.

Yeah, I sure don't

But yeah, the tape would be a good alternative.

Doesn't look to hard.
I'm gonna wait for the next generation Modchips though.

Wait...I'll wait till I can actually BUY A FUCKING WII in the stores here.

I gotta get me a finer soldering iron tip it looks like...

If you want, but a standard soldering iron will work just as well. Just melt the metal onto the points, like in the video. You dont have to touch the drive with the iron, so no worries there. From there, dab the iron on the presolder metal on the drive, and stick the wire in.

I did this when I installed a 12 point wire mod chip for my PS2. Its not that hard actually, even though that sounds rather cliche, its the truth.

from the looks of it it doesnt mate, i asked the same question earlier today. i've just split a telephone cable and nicked wires out of it, they're very thin and good conductors so hopefully they will be good for it

I have an ordinary soldering iron that could do this, but the fine soldering tipped one used on this made it look a lot easier. This doesn't look like something someone should do unless their good with a soldering iron.

Does the wii require the dreaded Tri-wing screwdriver to open?

This morning, I did a quick check. Unscrewed the 3 Philips screws securing the black faceplate covering the Gamecube ports/slots at the top. Behind the black faceplate, there's supposed to be a mix of Philips and Tri-wing screws securing the unit. But my unit only had Philips screws.

It has been reported that some Wii units are only screwed with Philips screws. Guess mine's one of them (mine's a Japanese unit) although I haven't check the rest of the screws in the console. YMMV

the 2 screws under the rubber feet should be triwing. at least on mine it was. (pal launch console)

I suggest everyone to use a 15watt soldering iron and not higher.
The chip doesnt come with wires so you can buy them in a store, or use some wires from some old electronics you never use

The glue looks nice, but it would be hell to take the wires/chip off again, so i just put electrical tape, i always did that with the qoob chip on gamecube and never had a problem with it coming loose.
