    Wiinja Installation Video Guide

    By GBAtemp.net

We have successfully installed our Wiinja sample and made a video guide of the installation process. As the guide lasts approximately 13 minutes, we uploaded it on YouTube in two different parts:

We are also finishing the review and will be posting it tomorrow. We can however confirm immediatly that thanks to the Wiinja, our Wii now plays all Wii PAL backups flawlessly (1:1).

The angle of the video makes it look like you're defying gravity and the Wii is resting on the wall.

    Bizarre....

It's a bit shakey, but informative.

Looks easy enough...I hope the WiiKey has a equally simplistic installation.

Actually because of this video, I am more confident in soldering. I have never soldered anything before but watching this video makes it seem a lot easier...its like making a cake...just the icing is a small piece of poisonous lead.

The choice of no audio is deliberate: as our video will probably be seen by people from different countries, you all know it's easier for them to read subtitles than to understand a regular english voice (even speaking slowly).
Plus if you want to follow this guide to install your modchip, you will probably have to put the video on pause regularly. Putting the video on pause lets you read the subtitles, but you couldnt "hear the voice" when paused, if you see what I mean.

The soldering points seemed a little larger than when shaun soldered a modchip on his gamecube.

OMG, if I had the money... [IMG]
Currently as a University student, I have no access to money, video-game, porn and sometimes even food...
I would so buy this 5 years later after I graduate!
Wait, I'm still surprised that an actual working mod-chip came up so early? What's wrong with Nintendo and their anti-piracy?

The soldering actually didn't seem half as difficult as remembering where all of the screws and white caps came from on the casing.

Still no news on the WiiKey.. [IMG]

A question for those on the know. Why does it seem that less NTSC wii game dumps are at large, compared to PAL dumps?
