Hardware Wiimotes Going Wacky

My friend and I were playing Wii when we started to notice that the wiimote was acting funny.
The pointer for the Wiimote would blink, or twitch, or go off the screen.
I tried the following:
-Changed batteries
-Changed Sensitivity for Sensor Bar
-Changed Screen Resolution

Player 1 was fixed, but Player 2's Wiimote is still acting up.

How can I fix this?

Ok...

i turned off the lights above the TV and the Wii and I will try it soon.

EDIT: When I use only 1 controller, the pointer becomes laggy. When I enable the 2nd controller, 1st controller is fine but 2nd controller is laggy.
EDIT2: They're working fine now.
