Wiimote not turning on after installation of BootMii?

    I just turned on my Wii, installed the new HBC [haven't updated it ever since I installed it...] and then I installed BootMii as the boot one.

    Now everything works fine, my wii is NOT bricked, it's just my wiimote isn't turning on. It flashes the blue lights for a little bit before turning off.

    I've tried re-syncing, and nothing happens.

    I've tried new batteries, and nothing.

    What else can I try

    Will it not sync to the system menu or just in bootmii?

    Ah, I'm just in the Bootmii Menu, I just tried and went to the Wii menu and it connects fine

    Yep, or one version allows you to use the buttons on the wii itself. I think when its installed as boot2 you can use front buttons and or GC remote. Boot1 can only use GC remote or something like that. But yea wiimotes dont work in bootmii.

    Actually you can use the front buttons on your Wii with all installs of BootMii(Boot2 and IOS) but for restoring your NAND, you only can use the front buttons when restoring on a Wii where BootMii is installed in Boot2.

    I might be wrong, but last time I check Bootmii doesn't support the Wiimote. Only the Gamecube controller.

    Thats right, Wiimote isnt working. GC controller and front buttons are.
