Today I have released my new custom track distribution: Wiimms Mario Kart Fun 2011-08
I'm not author of the tracks, I only collected them to create this distribution. The advantage of a distribution are online meetings: All players use the same track base.

It is released as ISO Patcher (including a Riivolution generator). It is based on my ISO and SZS tools.
    • NTSC and PAL versions of Mario Kart Wii supported.
    • Japan version should also work (never tested).
    • The patcher runs on Linux, Mac and Windows.
    • English and german text substitutions.
    • 32 custom tracks and 10 custom battle arenas.
    • Texture hacks of 29 driver & vehicle combinations.
For details see: Wiimms Mario Kart Fun 2011-08 (Custom Track Wiiki)

1.) No, use must use the original, because some files are differential patched.

2.) Have you started the create-image script in the correct directory? (Please tell me the OS)

Hope it's even better than the last!

...And could you make it so that each of your distributions uses a different save file? Unlocking something in Retro is weird when the same thing is unlocked in a completely new distro.

I have not really Mac experience, I'm only guest on a friends machine. And he has installed libpng. Is there a way to link libpng static?

Use my wit tools and say: wit edit --id=K new-image --modify tmd, ticket, boot

ok, i think i know the problem with ur script, it point to a sepcific version of libpng (14.14) while i have 15.15 and if u could tell me where to change that value it would be great. and upon install of libpng (on a mac) there is always an alias created name libpng.dylib that points to whatever the installed version is which would solve the version problem

I don't know how to compile it in another way. My host has installed libpng14. I think the only chance is to link libpng static.

    What is a FAT/non-FAT version?

The only thing is, that you can't create the image on a fat partition because of missing hard link support: But after creation you can copy and play it from FAT.

the source has to be modified i mean, and change the path to libpng
    from:
    /usr/local/lib/libpng14.14.dylib
    to:
    /usr/local/lib/libpng.dylib
